Errr.... Yeah I know.......Hand-dryers!
Been a bit obsessed with the things for a while (since I was a kid), thought I'd start photographing them and posting them here.
The assessments are obviously completely biased and the new pretenders will have to stick around for a long time to replace some of my old faves in my heart. I thought about doi ng ratings, and maybe i'll get round to it at some point, but for now, i've just put comments under each one.

Used to be No. 1.... now just a classic.... World Dryer Corporation's Manual |
The New Pretender....Dyson Airblade....is it just a Gimmick? I personally don't like it.
You can't rub your hands together; which is part of the pleasure.
I must concede it is very powerful though. |
A good solid, decently powered Automatic |
World Dryer Automatic 'Airmax' good solid dryer, possibly second place. |
The older version, still great. |
What have we here.... A wolf in sheep's clothing, looks crap but almost takes your skin off....Wow. World Dryer corp again... You gotta love em |
Well Well another newbie.....called the classic+ but this is my first encounter with them. Very good, I was more impressed than I expected to be. |
A design classsic (maybe), an old design that hangs in there. The old 2 position Initial, hold the flap down (manually) and dry your face! Disappearing rapidly, which I persoanally am happy about. This is the face dry position. |
Same Dryer in the auto hands dry position. |
Currently way way down at the bottom of the pile, a gentle breeze would dry your hands faster.... an utter waste of electricity; and I'm being kind |
Not as bad as it looks, not much power but as hot as hell. On a cold winter's day...this hits the spot. |
Now we're talking.....the current Champion! Awesome power!
